Mark Mallardi
Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Mark brings over 25 years of success in driving sales, profits and marketing innovation. A veteran of PepsiCo and Philip Morris, Mark also spent nearly a decade in research-based consulting with Fortune 100 Consumer Packaged Goods giants on behalf of Information Resources, Inc (IRI), most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Client Services and Western Regional Manager for IRI. His clients included Nestle, ConAgra, Mars, Dole, Clorox, Dial, Dreyer’s, Neutrogena, etc. Mark has extensive experience in speaking at conferences, universities, and Fortune 500 companies. He began his Market Research career with SPAR Group.

John Tomchek
Vice President, Sales - Northeast
John has over 20 years of marketing, research and client service experience. He has managed every aspect of projects, from problem definition and research design through analysis and presentation of marketing insights. His experience includes: advertising evaluation, strategy development, concept/positioning tests, product tests, package evaluation, brand equity & advertising tracking, A&U’s, and choice methodology design. John has an in-depth understanding of the consumer packaged goods industry, having been responsible for managing a $1BN North American household products division of a global Fortune 500 company. His experience spans syndicated and custom research across OTC, pharmaceutical, food, confection, personal care, household products, the financial sector and advertising & PR clients. John holds a BS from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a CPA certification in NY, and an MBA in Marketing from NYU.

Lee Ann Hickey
Vice President, Sales - Southeast
LeeAnn has spent her entire career enabling clients, partners and corporations to achieve two objectives: develop big ideas and build revenue. She is a strategic thinker with a keen business acumen delivering measurable results and groundbreaking work for prestigious global brands. As a leader at numerous agencies (Ogilvy and Mather, Harte-Hanks, Targetbase and Sagon-Phior) and corporations (Acxiom, Sprint and Tandem Computers), LeeAnn has incorporated market research and analytics as a foundation for the successful design and execution of multi-channel campaigns and initiatives. These unique, innovative communications strategies span myriad industries, including CPG, Retail, High Tech, Telecommunication and Financial Services.

Matt Valle
Vice President, Sales - Midwest
Matt has 15 years of experience in research-based consulting. Prior to EmSense, he held senior roles with MarketTools, managing both the Central Region in Chicago and the P&G Team in Cincinnati. Matt was previously a partner at Information Specialists Group (ISG), a boutique research firm in Minneapolis. Prior to ISG, Matt was an Account Executive with NFO WorldGroup and held various marketing and research positions with Thomson (now Thomson Reuters). Matt has held various leadership roles with the AMA, and is currently serving on the AMA Marketing Research Advisory Council through 2011/2012. He holds an MBA in Marketing and a BA in Statistics from the University of Minnesota, and an MA in International Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.

Scott Smith
Vice President, Sales & Scientific Support
Scott has over 20 years of experience in the cognitive neuroscience industry, ranging from research positions to management. Scott has expertise in many neuro-imaging technologies including EEG, fMRI, and simultaneous EEG/fMRI. Prior to EmSense, Scott worked as an executive in the field of academic neuroscience where he interfaced with many of the world’s leading cognitive neuroscientists and was an early adapter in the application of neuro-technology towards consumer market research. He has held positions at Harvard Medical School, Neuroscan, Compumedics, Electrode Arrays, and Sands Research. His unique background is ideal for leveraging EmSense’s technology for maximum client effectiveness.
